S Cearley
This piece is about how I grew up unable to learn the languages that were first spoken where I live. Languages and cultures were always some other, foreign place. To reclaim the phrase from Gertrude Stein, “There is no here, here.”
The characters within the poem include Danish/Norwegian, Icelandic, and German alphabets.
Designed at 333mm x 333mm.
S Cearley has tricked a computer into making poetry when it thinks it is making art.
