Michaël Vidon
I made the UK my home with and through my partner: we live mostly in English, with some French I brought and expressions that are dear to me because they are ours. My home is inside the house, outside on our walks and on the internet. I belong. Brexit or not.
Michaël Vidon is French poet based in the UK. He graduated from the MA Creative Writing and Education at Goldsmiths University of London and has taught =poetry, performance and French language in a range of schools and arts organisations (Apples and Snakes, Institut Français de Londres, Translators in Schools, Eastside Educational Trust, Stephen Spender Trust, etc.) He champions multilingual creativity, agency and self-esteem. His work can be found in streetcake, Irisi-Magazine, Kreaxxxion Review, Stephen Spender Prize Suggested List of French Poems, Best Practice (forthcoming) and Pamenar Press (forthcoming). He is fascinated by the space between meanings.
