I’m home in my back yard. It’s the summer. It’s hot. Even the trees began to look like dried out lettershapes under the burning sun. I lie down and images of orange and red, images of blood and veins in my eyelids form letters. The alphabet crackles and bends. Where is home? Home is hot and is in the overheaded world of my brain, some kind of desiccated wild west landscape on the mesa of the burning page.
